Utilizing the new patented technology from Solisten®, Listen for Change is able to deliver the core benefits of the Tomatis® Effect not only at greatly reduced costs, but also in a variety of delivery methods designed to meet your specific needs and requirements. We recognize that “One Size” does not fit all, and our consultants will work with you to tailor a package that is most appropriate for you or your child.
The first step in identifying the right solution for you or your child is to schedule an initial consultation. This in-depth analysis of your needs lasts approximately one hour and can be conducted face-to-face, over the telephone or through Skype. The fee for this session is $250, payable in advance and non-refundable. However, should you choose to proceed with a training session, then this fee will be deducted from the first cycle of your agreed program.
The following detail some of the typical options that we have implemented for clients in the past and their associated costs:
Self-managed Training
Designed for clients who wish to be in control of their training program, we make available a Solisten device to be used in your home, office or any other location of your choosing.
The key features of this plan include:
- Device delivered to your home/office 24 hours before commencement of listening training commences;
- Training undertaken in accordance with instructions specified by Listen for Change Consultant;
- Daily contact made with the Consultant to report any issues or material developments arising from the training;
- Device returned to our office within 48 hours of training cycle completion.
Assisted Training
This plan is designed for those individuals who, for whatever reason, feel the need for support as they undergo each of the training cycles. Under this plan, members of our experienced paraprofessional team will be available to work with you on each of your training days ensuring that the SoListen device is used correctly. For young children, the paraprofessional will ensure that the child is productively occupied with goal directed activities throughout each 2-hour training session.
The key features of this plan include:
- Training sessions undertaken either in our office or your home as agreed with your Listen for Change Consultant;
- Experienced Paraprofessional will oversee all 15 2-hour sessions for each training cycle;
- Responsibility for the SoListen device remains with the Paraprofessional;
- Regular contact made by the Listen for Change Consultant to discuss any issues or developments throughout each training cycle.
Occupational Therapy Intensive
For those individuals seeking to incorporate the Tomatis® Effect as part of an Occupational Therapy program, Listen for Change offers an Occupational Therapy Intensive (OTI) plan. Under this plan, your training session will be supervised by an experienced Occupational Therapist supported by Paraprofessionals. Your SoListen Training will be incorporated into a formal Occupational Therapy program with specific goals and objectives defined at the outset.
The key features of this plan include:
- Training sessions undertaken either in our office or your home as agreed with your Listen for Change Consultant;
- Listening Training incorporated into a goal oriented Occupational Therapy program;
- Experienced Professional Occupational Therapy practitioner will oversee 11 of the 15 2-hour sessions for each training cycle, the remaining 4 sessions will be supervised by an experienced Paraprofessional;
- Responsibility for the SoListen device remains with Listen for Change.
