What Happens in Solisten Sound Therapy

The diagram below maps out the key steps when undertaking a Solisten® sound therapy program:

Your first step is the initial consultation. This is an interview that takes no more than 60 minutes and provides an opportunity to define any areas of difficulty you, or your child, might be experiencing. This allows us to develop a mutually agreed listening plan. The initial consultation may be undertaken either at our New York / Westchester County office, or through video-conferencing technology (Skype).

To achieve the full benefits of the Tomatis® Effect, using the Solisten equipment requires a commitment on your part and availability of a listening device. The second step of the process is to schedule a full therapy cycle that is convenient to you and for which a device will be available.

The third step in the process is to execute your therapeutic plan. A Solisten therapeutic cycle comprises three distinct phases:

The final step in the process is a consolidation interview undertaken approximately 30 days after completing phase III of the therapeutic cycle. This interview allows us to review the impact and effect of the therapy and to identify any next steps you might wish to consider.
